Oxford – Heathrow

Children are defined as 5-15 years old. Children under the age of 5 years can travel for free.
Group tickets are valid for up to 4 people (must include at least one adult).
Period return tickets: give you the flexibility to make your return journey within 1 month.
2 trips and 12 trips tickets: valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Fixed date return tickets: choose a specific date and time for both your outbound and inbound trip, and your seat is reserved in both directions. These tickets must be purchased at least 12 hours before travel.
Flexible return tickets: choose a specific date and time for the first leg of your trip (which guarantees your seat), and then return any time within 12 months.

Central Bus Station is a short walk from Terminals 1, 2 & 3. Lifts, escalators and moving walkways are available to help with the journey.

Terminal 5
Using Terminal 5? Our airline coach leaves from stand 10 at the arrivals concourse to take you to Oxford.
Free travel for all at Heathrow Airport
Free travel is available between Heathrow terminals on trains, the Tube and the H30 bus. A contactless card or Oyster is required to open the ticket gates at train and Tube stations.
The H30 bus also serves BA Waterside and Compass Centre before about 05:00 and operates to Cargo Area throughout the day.

High Wycombe
The coach stop is located at High Wycombe Coachway (Handy Cross). The site is easily accessible by local bus services and there is plenty of parking available if you’re arriving by car.

Lewknor
The coach stop (for travel towards the airports) is located just off the M40, near the village of Lewknor. Please see the map below for more information.

Heathrow FAQs
Large items such as skis, trunks and cycles can only be transported if space permits and this is at the driver’s discretion. A surcharge of £5 is payable per large item. Items must be suitably packaged. Whilst we take every care possible to ensure the safe carriage of your items, we still strongly recommend that you take out insurance.
We understand that flights can be delayed or occasionally arrive earlier than planned. To give you peace of mind, you have 24 hours’ flexibility either side of the chosen time for journeys from the airport. You can therefore board an earlier or later departure, as needed. Your existing booking will still be valid, though your seat is only guaranteed on the exact departure on which you are booked.
We recommend aiming to arrive at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the coach is due to depart. Please ensure you are ready to pay or have your ticket/booking to hand.
A seat can only be reserved for a specific coach by making an advance booking online. Paper tickets purchased on board, app trips and key smartcard journeys do not guarantee a seat; these can be used flexibly on any departure within their validity. Don’t worry, we always keep over half of the coach available for passengers who arrive without bookings.
Should your plans change, we are able to amend the date and time of your booked departure – free of charge – up-to 24 hours prior to departure.
We are not able to change pick up or drop off locations, however, you will be able to pay the difference in price (if applicable) in the form of an upgrade purchased from the driver or our travel shop at Gloucester Green Bus Station on the day of travel.
Please note that single tickets, period passes (e.g. 1 week, 4 week) and multi-trip tickets cannot be upgraded.
Yes! Our coaches have many facilities to ensure you can travel in comfort and arrive feeling as relaxed as possible. These include 24/7 WiFi, toilets, USB charging points and climate control, to name a few.
Don’t worry! Tickets booked for travel from either Heathrow or Gatwick airport may be used up to 24 hours before or after the service you have booked. For travel from Oxford to Heathrow and Gatwick, your ticket may be used up to 2 hours before or after the service you have booked. In both instances, however, no seat can be guaranteed.
For payment on board the coach, we accept contactless card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) up to £100 and cash in GBP. You can also book your ticket in advance using our online booking system, or buy a flexible ticket on the Oxford Bus app.
Yes! Our WifFi is available 24/7 on all of our coaches, allowing you to pop your headphones on and listen to music, watch some TV or catch up on your emails.
The majority of our airline coaches feature onboard information screens, though availability may vary.
Our coaches are cleaned regularly as part of our operating procedures, with cleaning schedules in place to maintain a comfortable and hygienic environment for customers.
You’re welcome to bring snacks and drinks on board airline coaches, but we ask that you dispose of any litter responsibly and be considerate of other passengers.
Drivers on the airline are able to provide boarding assistance via the lift for passengers with wheelchairs or mobility issues. No, you do not need to change coaches on the way. The airline runs from Oxford to Heathrow and Gatwick, with stops in High Wycombe. Once you join your service, we will take you to your stop with no need to swap or change coaches.
Absolutely! Gloucester Green in Oxford is fitted with extra lighting and CCTV to keep you safe, while High Wycombe Coachway is fitted with 24-hour security surveillance. Both Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport are equipped with CCTV and security to help keep you safe.
It is, however, always good to stay mindful when travelling. Stick to well-lit areas and utilise public transport where possible. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, there are several bars and restaurants in the area around Gloucester Green in Oxford that open until late, and several hotels and businesses near High Wycombe Coachway that do the same. If you ever feel uncomfortable at Heathrow or Gatwick, just head inside the nearest Terminal and find a member of staff.

If you are returning from Oxford, you have 2 hours flexibility, while traveling from Heathrow or Gatwick will provide you with 24 hours of flexibility on either side of the departure time you booked.
