Travelling by bus to catch the airline? Here’s the airline flyer ticket!
When you buy the airline flyer ticket, your local bus journey is FREE! This means that one ticket covers your entire journey from your nearest convenient Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel or Carousel bus stop, all the way through to the airline bus stop and on to Heathrow or Gatwick Airports.
The airline flyer ticket applies to single, day/next day return or period return tickets. If you’re travelling on a Carousel service, the airline flyer ticket is currently only available in Zone A.

How to get the airline flyer
airline flyer tickets are available to purchase from the driver on your local bus:
- When boarding your local Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel or Carousel bus, please ask your driver for an “airline flyer” ticket.
- The driver will issue you with a ticket. Please make sure to keep it safe.
- Show your ticket to your airline coach driver.
- Enjoy your journey!
- If you’re making a return journey, please retain your ticket for your return travel.
If you’re travelling on an Oxford Bus Company or Thames Travel service, you can now purchase your flyer ticket on the app. The airline flyer tickets are not currently available to purchase online.
